Studying at Paris Nanterre: incoming exchange students

University Paris Nanterre has more than 400 partnerships in over 70 countries. In particular, it participates in the Erasmus+ (Europe and International Credit Mobilities), BCI, APA, CUPA and MICEFA programmes. These partnerships are managed by the International Relations Office.

If your university is a partner of our university, you have the possibility to come and study for 1 semester or 1 year, and have the credits (ECTS) obtained recognized in your original diploma. You will not obtain a diploma from our university except in specific cases (double degree program).

Check with your university, if there is a partnership with University Paris Nanterre.

Language level

The minimum level required in the language of instruction is B1 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). You will have to provide proof of this level when you apply online: an official certification (TCF or DELF for French) or an attestation from your university.

If your application is accepted, you will receive an admission letter by email, that you can use for your administrative procedures, including the visa application if you are concerned.
