[EDUC Research] A look back at an EDUC event 2026

To highlight the concrete impact of our initiatives, the EDUC alliance is proud to present the video feedback on the "Women empowerment and gender inequalities" event which took place at Paris Nanterre University in March 2026.

“It’s fascinating to look at things from a different perspective,” says doctoral candidate Mariz Abdou.

On March 9 and 10, 2026, the European Digital UniverCity - EDUC hosted two days of events entitled “Women’s Empowerment and Gender Inequalities.” The aim was to address the issue of gender inequalities, particularly the biases and pressures faced by women, both through the results of multidisciplinary scientific research and within the research community itself.

These events were part of Equality Month 2026.
