UPN’s Summer School: French Language & Culture - 22-30 June 2026

Join our intensive Summer School from 22 to 30 June 2026—a completely tuition-free programme designed for students from our partner universities. Immerse yourself in the Parisian lifestyle while earning ECTS credits!
Are you a prospective exchange student or considering studying at our university? Or do you simply want to spend an unforgettable week in the Paris region while boosting your French skills? This programme is designed for you!
Registration for this programme is entirely free for students from our partner universities, with priority given to members of the EDUC alliance. You only need to cover your own travel and accommodation costs!
Programme overview
- Dates: 22 to 30 June 2026
- Location: University Paris Nanterre (UPN) campus
- Duration: 25 hours
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to noon
- Cultural activies: special afternoon excursions on Thursday 25 and Monday 29 June
- Levels: two dedicated groups for A2 and B1 (CEFR)
- Credits: 3 ECTS credits can be awarded upon completion
What to expect
This intensive 7-day course is designed to refresh your linguistic tools rather than move you to a new CEFR level. You will review key concepts of your current level while gaining a deep dive into French society and culture. Our goal is to ensure you have the confidence to follow conversations and communicate fluently with native speakers in everyday situations.
Prerequisites & registration
This program is open to all undergraduate and graduate students from our partner universities.
- Requirement: you must meet the CEFR level (A2 or B1) for which you register. Please indicate your level on the form. No formal certificate or proof of level is required.
- Deadline: apply by 15 May 2026.
- Confirmation: the programme is subject to a minimum number of participants. We will confirm the session by 18 May 2026.
